McCants

My girlfriend moved away today, which means that we broke up. Bummer. She moved to Portland to help run a math camp, and then she is moving to Ohio State (sorry, The Ohio State University). I really like her, but that's the way things go. We knew this going into the relationship, so it wasn't a surprise. It still kind of sucks, though.

What do you think about the draft, Stephen? I'm interested in what Patrick and Bitty have to say about it, too, but I am expecting Stephen to have more thoughts about it. I like McCants, although I am a little afraid of the rumors of his attitude. Bracey Wright was a decent second round pick, too.

Still, I would have preferred that the Wolves pick Gerald Green and Ryan Gomes, the Celtics' selections just a couple of picks after each of the Wolves' picks. The Celtics had a ridiculously good draft. It will be fun living in Boston soon.

Nine More Pounds

I am thrilled that the baby is doing well, Bitty.

My moving is not really going well. It's not that it is going poorly, but rather it is not going at all. I have not heard when I am going to close on my condo in Boston, and I haven't sold my Madison place yet. The former is actually kind of good, because it has saved me $1600 dollars already. The latter might not be that bad, because I had a women look at my Madison condo on Monday, and she was very interested. The only problem is that she had an allergic reaction to something while she was here, but I am hoping that was just some Drano I used to unclog my garbage disposal.

Batman Begins is pretty good.

Boy gets his period.

PStup

Welcome to the century, Patrick!

I saw A Beautiful Mind last night. It wasn't awful, but I didn't really like it. I think my life is exactly like John Nash's, though.

I still haven't seen Good Will Hunting, or Pi. I'm not actively seeking out movies about mathematicians.

2-1

Have y'all been watching the NBA Finals? I expect that maybe Stephen has, but not the rest of you (two).

I still haven't closed on my place in Boston. Maybe next week...

If you are bored, you should try the Self-Referential Aptitude Test. Question 19 is my favorite.

Hufu.

Stephen - You are welcome to stay with me in Boston.

Sorry your life is ebbin' and flowin'. It sounds hectic. Moving must be rough.

I'm having a bit of an annoying time here, too. My seller forgot to turn some paperwork in on time, and so my closing (which was supposed to be on May 31st) was pushed back. It will probably be this week, but I'm not completely sure.

Say "hi" to the Minister of Economic Development from New Zealand for me, and be sure to remind him that he owes me twenty dollars.

Here is Hufu.

I'm working on catching up on email tonight. I probably have about 100 to do.
